PACEP is committed to supporting the next generation of emergency physicians. In 2024, we created a new educational initative: The Jan Reisinger Emergency Medicine Train in PA Grant. This grant is designed to support medical students pursuing emergency medicine training in Pennsylvania and encourage medical students to complete away rotations in the Commonwealth with the hope they will ultimately remain and practice in the state.

The next grant cycle will open later 2025. Please watch for this exciting opportunity, which will award up to two $2,000 grants to: - Medical students from outside Pennsylvania applying for an EM away rotation at a Pennsylvania EM residency program, or - Pennsylvania medical students applying for an EM away rotation at a Pennsylvania EM residency program that is more than 50 miles from their home institution Application includes: - CV - Brief statement on why you are applying for this scholarship - Essay on the following topic: What drives your passion for Emergency Medicine?
