PACEP has opened the 2026 Train in PA grant cycle! This grant program awards up to two $2,000 grants to cover travel expenses to medical supports who are pursuing emergency medicine training in Pennsylvania. Qualifying applicants include: - Medical students from outside Pennsylvania applying for an EM away rotation at a Pennsylvania EM residency program, or - Pennsylvania medical students applying for an EM away rotation at a Pennsylvania EM residency program that is more than 50 miles from their home institution.
Interested medical students must provide the following items when applying: - CV - Brief statement on why you are applying for this scholarship - Essay on the following topic: What drives your passion for Emergency Medicine? (250-350 word limit) - Acceptance not needed for initial application, but provide a list of programs to which you plan to apply. Apply online: https://tinyurl.com/PACEPTrainInPaGrant26 Application Deadline: March 1, 2026 PACEP's Board of Directors will vote and and inform grant recipients of their award prior to PACEP's Annual Scientific Assembly which is held in the spring of the application year.
