The PACEP Education Committee is excited to accept submissions for speakers and presentations for our 2027 Scientific Assembly, which will be held May 6-8, 2027 at Kalahari Resorts in the Poconos.
Our conference theme for PACEP27 is "The Future of EM is Now: Leading Change, Advancing Care".
Think of all that has recently changed in EM: increased use of nerve blocks and bedside ultrasound, ED observation units and ED holds, the integration of AI into ED workflows, changes to billing and reimbursement and how to advocate for our specialty, changes in residency training requirements and board certification, emerging diseases and management of clinical conditions, plus so much more! We know emergency medicine is the critical safety net at the forefront of healthcare. At PACEP27, we will tackle these topics and more so you are prepared to provide the best patient care every shift.
We are looking to provide about thirty 30-minute lectures and to add some panel discussions and workshops into the PACEP27 program. All ideas are welcome; past applicants and presenters are encouraged to apply. This is also a great opportunity to earn scholarly activity and gain exposure, so please share this opportunity with your colleagues! Submit your session idea(s) today - the deadline is September 15, 2026.
Potential speakers will be notified by PACEP27 Scientific Assembly Program Co-Chairs, Chelsea Kon, DO and Jennifer Spinozzi, MD by October 15, 2026.
Note: While we cannot cover honorarium or travel expenses for your session, we do cover registration to attend the Scientific Assembly.
